Port Authority to test autonomous shuttles at Newark Liberty in spring

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is partnering with three companies—Oceaneering, Ohmio, and Glydways—to test electric self-driving shuttles at Newark Liberty throughout spring 2026. The tests support the $3.5 billion AirTrain Newark replacement project slated to open in 2030.
