Terms of Service
Last updated: February 21, 2026 · See also: Privacy Policy
1. Service Description
DWU AI is a document processing service for airport finance professionals, operated by DWU Consulting LLC (“DWU,” “we,” “us,” “our”). The Service processes documents submitted by users and returns results via email download links. The Service also provides an AI-powered chatbot for airport finance questions and publishes educational articles.
The Service operates as a stateless processor: user-submitted files are processed in an isolated computing environment that is destroyed after processing completes. DWU does not retain copies of submitted files or processed output beyond the temporary download period described in Section 7.
2. Eligibility
The Service is available to individuals located in the United States. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are located in the United States. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are registered by individuals outside the United States. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
3. Account Registration
You must provide a valid email address and accurate registration information. Each individual may register one account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We may limit new registrations at our discretion. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account with 7 days' written notice, for any reason, at our discretion.
4. User Responsibilities — Uploaded Content
Ownership and Authorization. You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit all files, documents, and materials you upload to the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service does not violate any employment agreement, non-disclosure agreement, non-compete clause, or intellectual property assignment to which you are a party.
Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DWU Consulting LLC, its owner, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your uploaded content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) any claim by a third party (including any employer or former employer) that your use of the Service infringes their intellectual property or trade secret rights.
Prohibited Content. You may not upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful. You may not use the Service for any purpose unrelated to professional business activities.
5. Skill Files
A “Skill” is a file generated by the Service that encodes processing instructions, corrections, and accumulated improvements from prior project iterations. Skills produced by the Service are delivered to you at the email address you designate. DWU does not retain copies of your Skill files. You are the sole custodian of your Skills.
Skills are delivered as password-encrypted files. You set the password. DWU does not store your password in readable form. If you lose your Skill password, the encrypted Skill file cannot be decrypted. DWU does not store Skill files and cannot recover them under any circumstances. You may restore from a prior version's Skill file using that version's password, or start a new Skill from scratch.
You are solely responsible for the custody, storage, and security of your Skill files after delivery. DWU is not responsible for unauthorized access to Skills after they leave our systems.
6. Document Processing & AI Disclaimer
Stateless Processing. Documents you submit are processed in an isolated computing environment (“sandbox”). The sandbox is created for your processing session and destroyed when processing completes. DWU does not retain your submitted documents or the processed output beyond the temporary download period.
AI-Assisted Processing. The Service uses artificial intelligence to process your documents and generate chatbot responses. AI-generated output may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or misinterpretations of source documents. Specifically:
- DWU AI may misquote, miscalculate, or misattribute data from source documents.
- Numerical data, financial figures, and statistical claims should be independently verified against original source documents before any reliance.
- DWU AI responses and processed documents do not reflect the professional opinion of DWU Consulting or Dafang Wu unless explicitly stated in a signed engagement letter.
No Professional Advice. The Service does not provide legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice. Output generated by the Service is not a substitute for the judgment of qualified professionals. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output before relying on it for any purpose.
7. Data Handling
What we store permanently: Your account information (email, registration details) and project metadata (project name, type, version timestamps, delivery email addresses, Skill password hash).
What we store temporarily: Processed output files and encrypted Skill files are available for download via time-limited links for up to 24 hours after processing completes. After expiration, these files are automatically and permanently deleted.
What we never store: Your submitted source documents (destroyed with the sandbox), your Skill file content (delivered to you, not retained), your Skill password in readable form, and your project instructions text (processed in sandbox, not retained).
The Service operates on cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. For more detail, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Email Delivery
Results are delivered via email download links. Standard email transmission is not end-to-end encrypted. By providing delivery email addresses, you accept responsibility for the security of those mailboxes and the networks they traverse. You are responsible for providing correct delivery email addresses. DWU is not responsible for results delivered to an incorrect address that you provided.
9. Knowledge Contribution (Opt-In)
“Knowledge contribution” means the extraction of generalized, non-proprietary industry knowledge from your project processing session to improve the Service's general capabilities. Knowledge contribution is available as an opt-in option on a per-project basis. It is never enabled by default. Declining has no effect on your access to the Service or its features.
If you opt in, only generalized industry patterns are extracted — never your specific data, documents, proprietary methodology, or personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that no proprietary information will be captured through this process. If you are uncertain whether your project contains proprietary information, do not opt in.
10. Data & Information “As-Is”
All data tables, downloadable files, articles, dashboards, and AI responses are provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranty of any kind. DWU Consulting disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall DWU Consulting LLC, its owner, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in Service output; (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; or (d) any other matter relating to the Service. In no event shall DWU Consulting LLC's total liability exceed the amount you paid to DWU for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
12. Pilot Period Notice
DWU AI and certain features of this website are currently in a pilot period. During this period, registered users may have access to enhanced AI capabilities and project processing features at no charge. Access levels, features, rate limits, and pricing are subject to change at any time. Upon conclusion of the pilot period, certain features may be restricted to paid subscribers. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
13. Rate Limits & Fair Use
The DWU AI chatbot and project processing are subject to rate limits based on your access tier. Automated, scripted, or programmatic access is prohibited. DWU Consulting reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any user engaging in abusive usage patterns.
14. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its foundation knowledge base, platform skills, user interface, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of DWU Consulting LLC. Users may reference and cite DWU Consulting materials with proper attribution. Bulk downloading, systematic copying, or redistribution of content is prohibited. DWU does not claim ownership of your submitted documents, processed output, or Skill files. You retain all rights to your content.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
16. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
