Terminal 6 opening first gates in 2026 at JFK

JFK Millennium Partners is building a world-class, $4.2 billion Terminal 6 with the first 10 gates scheduled to open in 2026. The 1.2-million-square-foot boutique international terminal will be sustainable by design, digital first, and full of the latest passenger conveniences. The terminal is part of the Port Authority's $19 billion transformation of JFK Airport.

New Terminal One construction advances toward 2026 phased opening

John F. Kennedy International Airport's new Terminal One, a 2.6-million-square-foot facility designed by Gensler and constructed by AECOM Tishman, remains on track for a phased opening in 2026. The 23-gate state-of-the-art terminal will replace the existing Terminal 1 and demolished Terminals 2 and 3, featuring expansive check-in halls, modern security areas, and world-class dining and retail.
