LaGuardia Airport experienced one of its most severe operational disruptions on February 24 with 1,034 flight cancellations within a single reporting period as Winter Storm Hernando's aftermath produced 19 inches of snowfall in Central Park. The disruptions affected thousands of travelers with an 83% cancellation rate.

Capital One opened its flagship 12,500-square-foot Landing lounge at LaGuardia Airport on February 18, featuring Spanish-inspired cuisine by Chef José Andrés, floor-to-ceiling windows with Manhattan skyline views, and a 30-foot hand-painted mural. Venture X cardholders receive complimentary access.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and New York Power Authority opened the first electric vehicle fast-charging station at LaGuardia Airport with 12 high-speed units that can power compatible EVs in as little as 30 minutes. The station is expected to serve more than 100 drivers per day.
